If you are seeking help but cannot easily access good quality counselling/therapy that either fits your busy schedule or is accessible in your area, online psychotherapy and coaching can provide the perfect solution.
Research demonstrates that online counselling is as effective as face to face therapy, in helping people discover how to address a wide range of issues: from anxiety and depression, to relationship and career concerns.
About me and my practice
I understand how coming for therapy can be daunting, especially for the first time. Sometimes it might feel that you may be entering the unknown and it can be confusing. It is a courageous first step towards taking charge of your life which shows your awareness that something needs to change and deserves to be celebrated. It is as well exciting as you realise that things can and will change in the future for the better.
I believe that it is important for you to find a therapist that is right for you, who will give you enough support and challenge to help you develop and grow as a person.
Psychotherapy is a journey with many twists and turns as you begin to unravel and understand your patterns, unhealthy habits, limiting beliefs and what it is you can really achieve in life.
I am an integrative psychotherapist/psychodramatist, which means I work using theories from several fields of psychotherapy including psychodynamic, person-centred, gestalt and transactional analysis theories. I am a couples therapist and have completed a training in The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy.
My model of working is varied and flexible, based on the values of creativity and appropriate spontaneity, underpinned by psychodynamic, systemic and existentialist thinking.
I am registered with the UKCP, a member of BPA and a registered member with BACP, and I trained in Psychodrama Psychotherapy.
I strongly believe that the answer to lifes dilemmas is not out there but within us. When we start to love and accept ourselves as we are, we can begin to feel more empathy for others, our relationships will improve, and we will find it easier to have the sort of life we want.
I offer you the space for your story to be told, heard and understood in a confidential, non-judgmental safe space which facilitates exploration and promote insight and personal growth, where you can consider your options and make choices.

Initial Consultation
Psychotherapy involves commitment, of time, energy and money. Before we make this commitment, it is important to meet for an assessment session. During this session you will get a chance to get a sense of whether you wish to go further, and I can explore with you what you are struggling with and what kind of changes you are hoping for.
We can discuss whether to engage in a time-limited or short-term piece of work or whether to embark on an open-ended or long-term journey of psychotherapy.
Clients are welcome to come for a first assessment, at a reduced rate, to discuss what concerns bring them to therapy and how we might work together. They are then free to decide if they wish to proceed with therapy.
